Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients, supervise care treatment by LPNs, CNAs and other staff, and develop individualized care plans. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, documentation, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with physician orders. The role requires effective communication with the interdisciplinary team and participation in unit activities. A valid RN license and CPR certification are necessary. Experience in a behavioral health environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid current RN license from the state or from a compact state
- Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required
Desired Qualifications
- Certified in Psychiatric Nursing preferred
- Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred
