REGISTERED NURSE (FULL TIME NIGHTS) MED SURG

Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy; provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team; oversee and guide employees under supervision; emphasize Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence; role supports a night-shift full-time RN in Med Surg at Summerlin Hospital within the Valley Health System; requires RN license in Nevada, BSN preferred, and current BLS/PALS or NRP certifications; experience in acute care (1 year FT or 3 years PT) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Experience: One-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred
- License/Certification: Current RN license in the state of Nevada; Current BLS Certification; Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department
- Other: Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
