Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Full Time Nights) in Labor & Delivery at Summerlin Hospital (Las Vegas area) responsible for providing safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards. Lead and support the healthcare team; deliver patient-centered care; supervision of staff under charge supervision; work within a busy maternity department with NICU/pediatric capabilities; requires Nevada RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS or NRP as specified by department, and acute care experience or approved specialty training. BSN preferred; role emphasizes professional leadership, collaboration with physicians, and commitment to performance improvement and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) OR current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) OR current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department
- BSN preferred
- 1 year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Interim RN license if applicable per Nevada State Board of Nursing
- Must pass pre-employment assessments
