Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care in Labor & Delivery for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards. Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, applying patient-centered care as the foundation of nursing. Oversees and guides staff under supervision and demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- BSN preferred
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department
