Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards; act as professional leader and support to the healthcare team; oversee and guide staff under supervision; uphold Service Excellence standards; responsibilities align with hospital-level acute care across maternity, NICU/pediatric ICU, cardiovascular, surgical, women’s health and oncology services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- An interim RN license must be granted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing
- One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
