Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy, and provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversee and guide staff under supervision; apply patient-centered care as the foundation for nursing care. Requires a current RN license in Nevada, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as applicable. BSN preferred. Requires one year of acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire. Full-time night shift. Pre-employment assessment may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification (adult patients) or PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- BSN preferred
- One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
