Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, overseeing and guiding employees under supervision. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards by practicing teamwork, professionalism, and treating every patient as a guest. Maintain current RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications while completing required specialty courses within six months of hire. Work full-time nights at Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility featuring a NICU, pediatric ICU, and Children's Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- BSN
- One-year acute care experience
- Successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients)
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients)
- Current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty, or department
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
