Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees under supervision. Apply Patient Centered Care as the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Requires RN license in Nevada; BSN preferred; certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS/NRP) as required by department. Requires one year of acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department
