Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health Crisis, night shift at Jefferson Health in Cherry Hill, NJ. Provides patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process, develops individualized nursing plans with patients and designated care partners, collaborates within inter-professional teams, applies evidence-based practice, utilizes information technology for documentation and quality improvement, and participates in safety and discharge planning to support patient recovery. Requires active RN license, BLS, and strong communication; specialized diploma in nursing is required with BSN strongly preferred. Work described aligns with a night shift in a hospital behavioral health crisis setting.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized DiplomaGraduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Patient-and Family-Centered Practice Knowledge of how to convey respect and collaborate with each patient, family and/or designated care partner in care and care planning
- Knowledge of cultural awareness and ability to convey respect and connect with diverse backgrounds
- Effective Communication and ability to communicate with patients and families
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- AHA - American Heart Association
- RN license in PA or NJ (State of practice) required
- Discharge Planning Knowledge of post-discharge needs and arranging follow-up care
- Active RN license required in state of practice
- BSN or completion of BSN strongly preferred
