Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the 12-bed Pulmonary Unit. Coordinate delivery of quality nursing care, manage operational issues during shifts, and provide clinical support when census demands arise. Serve as a resource for guidance to staff while communicating patient care and departmental concerns to leaders. Work full-time nights (7pm-7am) with patient ratios adjusted by volume and acuity. Requires current Georgia RN license, BLS certification, and one year of hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Demonstrated clinical competency
