Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical, trauma, and medical patients on a 29-bed med-surg floor. Manage complex cases involving GI surgeries, vascular procedures, mastectomies, and stabilized trauma patients with multiple injuries or drains. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, focusing on developing professional relationships with the entire care team.
