Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical, trauma, and medical patients on a 29-bed med-surg floor. Manage patients with GI surgeries, vascular procedures, and stabilized trauma cases involving drains or tracheostomies. Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice within organizational policies. Requires a current Georgia RN license, preferably with a Bachelor's degree and hospital experience. Join the energetic team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, offering a weekend option from 7pm to 7am.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
