Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Coordinate care and provide education while collaborating with interdisciplinary providers, families, and other staff. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Ensure safe administration of resident care and resolve service concerns in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour night shifts with a $30,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
