Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, and provide education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within appropriate scopes of practice and ensure safe administration of care. Serve as charge nurse as needed. Requires unencumbered RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
