Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to evaluate outcomes, while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis across all phases of resident treatment within the full scope of nursing practice. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation on 12-hour night shifts with additional differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
