Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatments for seniors in a Christian environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers, families, and unlicensed assistive personnel to plan and evaluate care plans while serving as charge nurse when needed. Manage preventative health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment phases within the full scope of nursing practice and state licensure standards. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation with 12-hour night shifts, a $30,000 sign-on bonus, and additional differentials for overnight and weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
