Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for seniors in a Christian environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and families to evaluate care outcomes while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis across all phases of resident treatment within the full scope of nursing practice. Full-time night shift with 12-hour rotations, including every other weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
