Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process with accountability for the assigned patients; coordinate patient care with other departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; uphold Mercy Service Standards; requires graduation from an accredited RN program and current RN licensure with state/compact privileges; multiple unit-specific certifications may be required (BLS, ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM); physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for shifts; Mercy benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, and retirement plans for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS (or ability to obtain)
- NRP (or ability to obtain)
- ENPC (or ability to obtain)
- TNCC (or ability to obtain)
- CPHON (or ability to obtain)
- OCN (or ability to obtain)
- PALS (or ability to obtain)
- PEARS (or ability to obtain)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (or ability to obtain)
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification) or equivalent unit-specific certifications
