Job Summary
Registered Nurse role in Saint Louis, MO for full-time day shifts at Mercy. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness by other direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission/values. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure (state or compact), with mandatory and/or unit-required certifications (BLS and additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., and C-EFM). Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or hold a valid compact license
- BLS certification (or planned acquisition within 30 days)
- ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM certifications as required by position/unit
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to stand/walk for extended periods
