Job Summary
Establish standards of care and supervise nursing personnel to ensure safe, complication-free patient outcomes. Conduct daily rounds, coordinate unit activities, and lead staff in achieving quality and compliance goals. Monitor critical processes through audits and incident reports, while assessing personnel needs and authorizing overtime to prevent staffing imbalances. Investigate operational issues, manage emergency preparedness, and collaborate with physicians to revise care plans. Complete monthly scheduling and maintain equipment safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Two years' experience of acute care nursing in hospital setting
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- National specialty certification in area of expertise or in nursing administration
- Facility Specific License/Certifications
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- E-Verify participation and understanding of Participation and Right to Work notices
