Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains accountability for patient care delivery, evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care staff, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards. The role is based in Mount Vernon, MO (Med Surg) and requires staying current with licensure and unit-specific certifications as indicated. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM or other unit certifications as required
