Job Summary
Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, supervises team members, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure age/developmentally appropriate care. Requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Women's Services, including Labor & Delivery and NICU. Mandatory certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NRP. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Requires at least 2 years’ RN experience
- Must be able to work in Women’s Services; Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Newborn and NICU
Desired Qualifications
- BSN Strongly Preferred
- Current additional certifications as required by department
Additional Requirements
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
