Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients in the NICU using the nursing process. Direct and supervise team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to provide age-appropriate care per unit standards. Communicate clearly, build collaborative relationships, and take initiative for professional growth within a Magnet-designated hospital. Weekend and holiday shifts are required based on unit needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience
- Weekend and holiday shifts
- 12X3 Night shift
