Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned neonatal patients using the nursing process. Direct and supervise team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to provide age-appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote collaboration, and take initiative for professional growth within the Level III NICU. Maintain current Texas nursing license and BLS certification. Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 1 year RN (NICU) experience
- Weekend and holiday shifts
- 12X3 Night shift
