Job Summary
Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients in Labor & Delivery, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and supervise other assigned team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to provide age and developmentally appropriate care. Communicate clearly, build relationships to foster a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth. Maintain a 12X3 night shift schedule from 6:45 pm to 6:45 am with varying days of the week. Hold a current Texas license or eligibility, a BSN, and at least one year of L&D RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 1 year L&D RN experience
