Job Summary
Provide leadership to facilitate professional nursing care for patient comfort and well-being. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Implement medically prescribed interventions while maintaining current licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and BLS certification. Requires one year of hospital nursing experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program. Full-time employment at Angel Medical Center, a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital serving Macon and Franklin, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license
- Registered Nurse must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year hospital nursing experience
