Job Summary
Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation). Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff. Communicates changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers. Participates in discharge planning. Requires active RN licensure and BLS certification. Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills; detail-oriented with ability to meet strict time frames. Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience (desirable)
