Job Summary
Registered Nurse – FT – Days on the K8 General Surgery Med-Surg Unit at Mission Hospital. Provides leadership to facilitate professional nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Requires BSN (or enrollment and progress toward BSN within 5 years) and active RN licensure with NC BON; BLS certification; 1 year hospital nursing experience. Sign-on bonus available. The unit is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment focused on pre- and post-surgical care, teamwork, and patient-centered outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: BSN or enrollment in BSN program with intent to obtain BSN within 5 years; RN licensure in North Carolina with eNLC considerations; BLS Healthcare Provider certification; 1 year hospital nursing experience; North Carolina Board of Nursing licensure requirement; ability to obtain RN license within 30 days of employment start date.
