Job Summary
Registered Nurse provides comprehensive health assessments and independently initiates and implements nursing care plans within a 24/7 Health Center serving students. Works as part of a care team to address crisis intervention, acute illness, injury, and emotional concerns; performs procedures such as drawing blood, administering medications, and immunizations; communicates with parents, faculty, and outside providers; ensures thorough documentation and adherence to confidentiality and NH Board of Nursing scope of practice. Requires collaboration with NP/PA/MD and other health professionals to promote student health and wellness, with a schedule including day/evening shifts and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- RN with current nursing license required
- 3-5 years nursing experience
- Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting preferred
- 1-2 years critical care nursing preferred
