Job Summary
Provide leadership in delivering professional nursing care on the step-down overflow unit. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer prescribed medications; monitor and document care; educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up steps; respond promptly to patient needs and ensure thorough documentation. Requires a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with intent to obtain BSN within 5 years, and an active North Carolina RN license with BLS. Day shift, full-time position with potential sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in BSN program with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years
- Current RN license in North Carolina (eNLC may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- One year hospital nursing experience
