Registered Nurse Freestanding Emergency Room

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department's requirements and standards. Works with medical providers and care team to provide individualized, comprehensive care using nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage). Advocates for patients/families/caregivers, teaches patients/families/caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up, and translates complex medical terminology for understanding. May rotate to other service areas as needed and performs duties within scope of practice while upholding organizational values. This role requires Colorado RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NRP, and TNCC/ENPC within specified timelines, with BSN preferred and ER experience; the position is based at the Freestanding Emergency Room in Denver, CO.
