Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for patients in a Freestanding Emergency Department. Responsibilities include carrying out nursing processes, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring care is delivered per plan. 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, or noon-midnight), full-time at Northglenn ED (36 hours/week) with an autonomous ED team and emphasis on documentation, patient education, and collaborative care. Minimum RN license in the practicing state with BLS; ED experience required; BSN preferred/required as of the update.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- One year of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department required.
