Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate, serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. This night shift role at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola's Freestanding ED requires a Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida with Advanced Life Support and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida
- Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
