Job Summary
Assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients, focusing on hematology/oncology populations within a clinic or hospital setting. Evaluate patient needs and conditions while demonstrating critical thinking and calm reaction during emergency situations. Maintain IV therapy skills and ensure compliance with drug-free workplace policies, including background and nicotine screenings. Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire, supported by provided training. Travel to various clinic locations across Florida using a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence
- experience in IV therapy
- The ability to assess patient needs and condition
- Strong critical thinking skills
- the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Current CPR certification
- BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Fluency in the English language
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver license for travel to clinics
