Job Summary
Assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients, specifically those with hematology/oncology conditions in a clinic or hospital setting. Assess patient needs and condition while applying strong critical thinking skills to react calmly in emergency situations. Maintain IV therapy expertise and ensure all patients receive ground-breaking therapies within a community oncology practice environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- licensed in the State of Residence
- experience in IV therapy
- The ability to assess patient needs and condition
- Strong critical thinking skills
- the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Current CPR certification
- BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Fluency in the English language
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver license for travel to clinics
