REGISTERED NURSE - FLOAT

Plan, provide, and direct patient care and teaching while utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families, and collaborate with other health care members. Assist in the orientation process of new personnel and participate in health center and department committees. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups based on specific chronological age, developmental age, and/or psycho-social maturity. This role requires two years of recent medical/surgical, critical care, or Emergency Department experience, along with current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing, CPR certification, and ACLS certification.
