Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a member of the patient care team, functioning as an advisor and resource for patients and families. Deliver telemetry and critical care support across various units and specialties within the Float Pool, adhering to a 6-week schedule with weekend obligations including 4 shifts, 3 major holidays, and 2 difficult-to-staff days. Maintain certification in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and Trauma Certification, with NIH Stroke Scale certification required within six months of hire. Eligible for full-time and part-time participation, including sign-on bonuses, shift incentives, and clinical ladder advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Telemetry experience
- Critical Care experience
- 2+ years of experience
- RN License in Maryland or Compact State (as applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Stable within 6 months of hire
- Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire
- Weekend obligation of 4 shifts
- 3 major holidays
- 2 difficult-to-staff days
