Job Summary
Plan, provide, and direct patient care and teaching while utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families, and collaborate with other health care members. Assist in the orientation process of new personnel and participate in health center and department committees. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age, developmental age, and/or psycho-social maturity.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing
- Two (2) years of recent medical/surgical, critical care or Emergency Department experience
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification for Critical Care and Emergency Services
- PALS certification in Emergency Services
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in specific nursing area
- ACLS certification
