Provide direct and indirect patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with specialists to adjust nursing processes for optimal results. Perform head-to-toe assessments on pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations, utilizing triage processes to ensure timely care. Accurately assign triage categories and assess pain, applying appropriate management techniques while educating patients and families. Respond quickly to changes in clinical conditions or treatment responses by communicating updates to physicians. Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities while floating to all units as needed. This per diem float pool role offers a flexible schedule for a dynamic individual with recent critical care or emergency experience.
