Job Summary
Provide direct patient care, perform head-to-toe assessments, and adjust nursing processes to ensure optimal outcomes. Utilize triage processes to assign categories and communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions. Reassess pain levels and educate patients and families on appropriate management techniques. Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities while floating to all units. This per diem opportunity offers a flexible schedule for critical care or emergency experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificate
- At least two years of recent critical care or emergency department experience
Desired Qualifications
- PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment)
