Registered Nurse - Float Pool, Nights - RN *Part Time*

Job Summary
The RN coordinates nursing care for assigned patients, including direct patient care and patient/family education, and supports transitions of care within Mayo Clinic's Nursing Professional Practice Model. The role involves leadership activities (preceptor and quality improvement), delegation based on skill and resources, and strong communication. The position may require driving a personal vehicle as part of responsibilities. Schedule is Nights for a Part Time role with 2x12 hour shifts weekly and weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program (BSN or equivalent)
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements (Arizona)
- BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred or required upon hire
- Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends and on-call
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- PCU/ICU experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Certification required upon hire and valid for 90 days or greater from start date (Heart/Red Cross)
