Registered Nurse - Float Pool, Nights - RN

Registered Nurse (RN) in a Float Pool for Night shift. Responsible for coordinating nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. Supports professional nursing practice across settings and across the continuum of care within Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Professional Practice Model. Demonstrates accountability in planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients; provides leadership via preceptor roles, informal/formal leadership, and quality improvement efforts; delegates patient care based on skill level, patient acuity, resources, and workload. Requires excellent communication, mentoring/teaching ability, and may participate on committees or projects. Some roles may require driving a personal vehicle.
