Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment following the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System nursing professional practice model and ANA Standards of Professional Practice. Float to all Sarasota Memorial Health Care System hospital campuses as needed. Maintain current Basic Life Support/CPR certification, Florida Registered Nurse license, and complete required Basic Arrhythmia, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications within specified timelines. Possess a BSN and two years of relevant work experience. Undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within thirty (30) days of hire
- Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- FL Registered Nurse License
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
