Job Summary
Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Carry out physician and nursing orders while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This PRN night float role at Ascension's NICU pool supports a leading nonprofit Catholic health system with over 99,000 associates, offering retirement plans, an employee assistance program, and spiritual care resources.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
