Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a Registered Nurse within the Sinai Hospital Float Pool, functioning as an advisor for patients and families. Deliver coverage across L&D and Mother Baby units, adhering to a 6-week schedule with weekend obligations including four shifts, three major holidays, and two difficult-to-staff days. Maintain readiness for Telemetry, Peds, PICU, or NICU assignments while holding required certifications such as BLS, PALS, and NRP.
Required Qualifications
- Telemetry experience
- Peds/PICU/NICU experience
- 2+ years of experience
- RN License in Maryland or Compact State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Stable within 6 months of hire
- Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire
- Weekend obligation of 4 shifts
- 3 major holidays
- 2 difficult-to-staff days
