Job Summary
Registered Nurse on a Float/Critical Care assignment providing comprehensive patient care across nursing units. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and documenting care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, and evaluating outcomes. Presents as preceptor to new staff, may serve as Charge Nurse, and performs duties to ensure smooth operation. Neuro-focused skills include neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, and care for ventilated or trached patients; demonstrates knowledge of the TI A teaching program and specialized procedures. Requires BSN preferred and at least 1 year NICU RN experience; CT RN license; proficient with electronic patient records.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
