Registered Nurse Float – Critical Care

Registered Nurse Float – Critical Care role requiring supervision of both RN and non-RN personnel on a nursing unit, with responsibilities including assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, serving as preceptor and charge nurse, and ensuring care quality across neuro-focused procedures. Key skills include neuro assessment, airway management, endotracheal/tracheostomy suctioning, ventilator care, halo brace care, post-discharge planning, and use of electronic medical records. BSN preferred; 1 year acute nursing experience required; Connecticut RN license held; BLS certification required. Opportunity spans multiple units as needed within the organization.
