Registered Nurse Float - Critical Care

Registered Nurse Float - Critical Care role requiring bedside nursing on a Neuro/critical care unit, supervision of non-RN staff, potential charge nurse responsibilities, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, developing and communicating individualized care plans, coordinating care with the team, educating patients and families, documenting outcomes, serving as a preceptor to new staff, and supporting smooth unit operations. Demonstrates skills in neuro assessment, airway management, care of trached patients, suctioning, and specialized neuro procedures; familiarity with Halo brace care and ventilator patients. Requires BSN preferred and CT RN licensure, plus 1 year acute nursing experience and BLS certification.
