Registered Nurse Float – Critical Care

Float Registered Nurse for Critical Care with neuro focus. Works under the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator; assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care on a nursing unit, with supervision of non-RN personnel, and potential to serve as Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include neuro-focused assessments, airway management, care for trached and ventilated patients, halo brace considerations, and teaching via the TIA program. Provides patient and family education, plans care with the healthcare team, and mentors staff.
