Registered Nurse Float – Critical Care

Registered Nurse Float – Critical Care role performing ongoing patient assessment, developing and updating plans of care, and coordinating with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include implementing and evaluating plans, providing education to patients and families, acting as preceptor to new staff, serving as charge nurse, and handling neuro-focused care such as airway management, suctioning, care for trached patients, ventilator support, and specialized neuro procedures. Requires ability to supervise non-RN personnel, adapt to unit needs, and participate in discharge planning and care continuity as part of a high-level nursing team.
